What is the SecureAcademy™ program?

SecureAcademy™ is Check Point MIND's cyber education program, which provides up-to-date, cutting-edge cyber educational content through partnerships with secondary schools, technical institutions, vocational schools, universities, colleges, and non-profit organizations. Through SecureAcademy™, Check Point provides the institutions with a yearly grant of up to $60,000 worth of content, services, and more, including industry-recognized certifications. We aim to empower the world's next generation of cybersecurity professionals in our mission to minimize the global gap within the cybersecurity workforce and create a future employee pipeline to entry-level roles in Check Point or any of our respective partners.

Who can join SecureAcademy™?

SecureAcademy™ is open to any higher learning institution worldwide with accredited degrees, diplomas, certificates, or continuing education programs, and to recognized nonprofit organizations and NGOs.

Who teaches the SecureAcademy™ curriculum?

Check Point's technical team trains and mentors our SecureAcademy™ partners' designated instructors over a 4-day online training course. After the training is completed, the instructors go on to teach their students at their respective institutions towards taking Check Point's official certification exams.

What do SecureAcademy™ students learn?

We offer on-demand online cyber education content, as well as an in-person certification track on cyber topics such as Networking Security, Cloud Security, Security Automation, Cyber Security essentials, and more. How much does the SecureAcademy™ program cost?

Partnering with SecureAcademy™ comes at no cost. In addition, we provide our partners with a yearly grant of up to $60,000 worth of content, services, licenses, certifications, and more.

How do we join the program?

You can submit your institution's application to become a Check Point MIND's SecureAcademy™ partner by clicking "Partner With Us" on the SecureAcademy™ website.

What are the eligibility requirements for a course completion certificate?

As we do not issue certificates of completion, we encourage all students and instructors to take their official certification exams at our proctor exam provider to become officially Check Point certified.

Would my institution be authorized to hold the exams for students?

SecureAcademy™ partners can hold their respective exams, but students will not be officially recognized as “certified” by Check Point. To provide reliable exam results and Test Integrity, Check Point uses a third party that conducts online proctor certification exams using a proctoring software that monitors the computer's desktop, webcam video, and audio. Upon successfully passing the exam, candidates will receive an official Check Point certification.
