Facilitation Requirements

• Meet equipment, hardware, software, and lab topology requirements
• Maintain a minimum of one certified instructor per ATC location (CCSA, CCSE certified on current version; soft-skills trainer certification)
• Use official Check Point courseware without alterations
• Provide comfortable, well-equipped facilities or virtual classrooms
• Ensure audiovisual capability and individual workstations
• Direct students to Check Point’s online evaluation form after training

Minimum Hardware Requirements

Minimum hardware requirements to the Authorized Training Center (ATC), physical machine or ESX.

Each student machine must have a minimum of the following:

• 48 GB RAM (64 GB recommended)
• 250 GB SSD storage
• i5 quad-core processor
• Windows OS
• Internet connectivity

Virtual System Requirements

Requirement for a virtual system (per student):

• VMware Workstation 10
• RAID 5 minimum; RAID Zero recommended
• 128 GB RAM minimum
• 16 cores
• 3 TB drive
• Thin provisioning for disk space
