Rebranding Activities

Over the next several days, we will be making changes to the community to align with Check Point’s new product pillars (Hybrid Mesh, Workspace, AI Security, and Exposure Management).
This includes moving and combining some spaces, which may cause some issues with items appearing/disappearing from menus temporarily.
URLs to individual community posts will still work.
We will do our best to minimize disruptions during this process.

What makes CheckMates great is the people. It’s not just about the sharing of technical knowledge, it’s about helping each other out, across cultures, across languages. Our CheckMates MVPs really embody this ethos and I thank ALL of our MVPs for being here and doing what you do.
Two in particular deserve special recognition as they've reached Diamond, our highest level in the program: @the_rock (Andy) nd @HeikoAnkenbrand!
- Heiko was recognized several times under our previous Champions program and continues to provide the community useful tools and information.
- Andy is probably the first person to exceed me in number of daily posts to the community. 🙂 This is because he is exceptionally willing to help other community members.
Can't wait to see what our community does in 2026!

File Attachments in the Community

Currently there is a known issue opening the files attached to messages in the community.
They can be downloaded fine, but cannot be displayed with the built-in viewer.
We've reported to the community platform vendor and will update once this issue is fixed.
Note that many of you attach graphic files to post instead of including them inline.
Adding images inline makes it fair easier for fellow community members to help you, particularly in light of this issue.
To add images inline with your message, click on the camera icon above the text entry field in the message editor:
You will see a dialog similar to:
You can drag/drop photos as the screen suggests or click on the Choose Files button.
If the image is hosted elsewhere, you can add the direct URL for the image instead by clicking on URL on the top of the dialog.
There's also the hidden trick of pasting images from the clipboard, which can be done by clicking on the whitespace to the right of the grey box first.
Note that pasting an image directly in a message will result in an error.
Upload the files as appropriate, adjust formatting/size as needed, and click the Done button lower right.

Introducing CheckMatesAI

Over the last day or so, you might have seen a few comments generated by @CheckMatesAI on a few posts.
These posts are generated with help from our Infinity AI Copilot (the same one that's available on Support Center) using the subject and body of a topic post as the prompt.
No other data is sent to Infinity AI Copilot.
Based on the data returned from AI Copilot, a comment is added to the relevant post.
It includes a notice that the response came from Infinity AI Copilot.
Currently, this is being done in a controlled manner (i.e. triggered manually) on selected topic posts only.
In the future, we may extend and/or automate this functionality.

Items to Include in Submission
All submissions must include the following information:
- Presenter’s name
- Presenter’s organization, job title and biography
- Presentation title
- Short abstract – maximum 100 words
- Length – ideally 20-30 minutes for the CheckMates track
- If applicable, please also include any links to previous presentations, slide decks, or papers
- Please include an estimate of how ‘technical’ your presentation will be. The following rating will be used:
- T1 = Very little technical knowledge required
- T2 = Some technical knowledge is assumed
- T3 = Largely technical and/or detailed content aimed at technicians
- Presentations must be written in English
- Presentations should present original work, which ideally has not been previously published
- Presentations will be selected based on their originality, significance, correctness and clarity of presentation
Key Disclaimers
It is important for presentations to avoid vendor/partner/sponsor specific product pitches/sales pitches’. If presentation proposals are considered to contain such material (product pitches/sales) they will more than likely be rejected early in the review process. Further, vendors are reminded that there is no linkage between conference sponsorship and the opportunity to present at the conference.
Proposals with real use cases from customers will be given priority in the selection criteria.
