The "fwm mds" or "fwm" process crashes with a 4GB core dump file

Symptoms

• The /var/log/dump/usermode/ directory on the Management Server contains core dump files for the "fwm mds" process or "fwm" process.
• The size of the core dump file after extracting from the .gz archive is 4 GB.

Cause

Memory leak in the FWM daemon.

Solution

This problem was fixed. The fix is included in:

• Jumbo Hotfix Accumulator for R81.20 starting from Take 8
• Jumbo Hotfix Accumulator for R81.10 starting from Take 82
• Jumbo Hotfix Accumulator for R81 starting from Take 79
• Jumbo Hotfix Accumulator for R80.40 starting from Take 190
