Ipv6 address removed from interface when making change to bond interface

Symptoms

• IPv6 address removed from bond VLAN interface when changing bond xmit-hash-policy configuration.

Cause

Due to the way VSX handles the VIP, when a bond setting is changed, an IPv6 address on the global address is removed.

IPv4 addresses are not affected.

Solution

This problem was fixed. The fix is included in:

• Jumbo Hotfix Accumulator for R81.20 starting from Take 8
• Jumbo Hotfix Accumulator for R81.10 starting from Take 93
• Jumbo Hotfix Accumulator for R81 starting from Take 82
• Jumbo Hotfix Accumulator for R80.40 starting from Take 196
