# Ipv6 address removed from interface when making change to bond interface

## Symptoms

- IPv6 address removed from bond VLAN interface when changing bond xmit-hash-policy configuration.

## Cause

Due to the way VSX handles the VIP, when a bond setting is changed, an IPv6 address on the global address is removed.

IPv4 addresses are not affected.

## Solution

This problem was fixed. The fix is included in:
