Symptoms
- When HTTPS Inspection is enabled for some websites, the Security Gateway may crash with a vmcore (in Kernel Mode) or FWK core dump (USFW).
Cause
In some rare scenarios, memory corruption occurs in FWK and / or WSTLSD process. This corruption can cause the process to unexpectedly exit and create a core dump.
Solution
This problem was fixed. The fix is included in:
- Jumbo Hotfix Accumulator for R81.20 starting from Take 8
- Jumbo Hotfix Accumulator for R81.10 starting from Take 85
- Jumbo Hotfix Accumulator for R81 starting from Take 82
- Jumbo Hotfix Accumulator for R80.40 starting from Take 196
