Symptoms

• Global policy assignment takes long time after making IPS profile changes in global policy (Creating/cloning/deleting IPS profiles)
• Takes several hours to assign policy in local domains.
• Following messages are happening repeatedly in cpm.elg files:

06/02/23 21:48:00,459 INFO coresvc.internal.ObjectCrudSvcImpl [taskExecutor-20827]: All incoming links to Id 7bc123ab-946c-4fba-c570-4a9e2f929721 are removed

Cause

The GPA is handling many links back to back and ends up deleting/creating profile multiple times.

Solution

This problem was fixed. The fix is included in:

• Jumbo Hotfix Accumulator for R81.20 starting from Take 43
• Jumbo Hotfix Accumulator for R81.10 starting from Take 113
• Jumbo Hotfix Accumulator for R81 starting from Take 89
• Jumbo Hotfix Accumulator for R80.40 starting from Take 211
