# High memory and CPU consumption by a ioc_feeds process

## Symptoms
- The _ioc_feeds_ process shows high CPU usage.  
- Gateway consumption of memory is high.  
- Debugging _ioc_feeds_ shows the following error in $FWDIR/log/ioc_feeder.elg:
  
  `[8059 4109752192]@HOST[24 May 14:58:46] CIOCCustomFormatParser[1035] ::write_line: [INFO]  exception  std::bad_alloc`  
- Removing _ioc_feeds_ resolves the issue.

## Solution
This problem was fixed. The fix is included in:
