# IOC Feeds do not work for specific longer URLs or HTTPS URLs

**Product**: Anti-Virus
**Version**: R81 (EOS), R81.10 (EOS), R81.20
**Last Modified**: 2024-01-08

## Symptoms

- Long URLs are not blocked
- URLs with special characters like "?" "#" "%" are not blocked

## Cause

The root cause of the issue is the removal of special characters ("?", "#", "%") from the URL, so the URLs are not blocked. The ioc_feeder does not push the long URLs and causes inconsistencies in the blocking mechanism.

The issue affects URLs in the IOC feeds, specifically those with extended length and special characters.
