The "show packages" Management API command with details level "full" may take a long time

Symptoms

• Slow performance when running " show packages" with details level " full" (or other intensive queries).
• The " show packages" query may timeout after 5 minutes, if there are many results and a large/no limit set.
• In rare scenarios, opening the Install Policy view gets timed out, and SmartConsole unexpectedly closes.
• When running the " show-access-rulebase" Management API with details level " full", it takes about 20 seconds to perform the call.

Cause

Cache-related issue which occurs in scenarios, when the cluster objects are retrieved.

Solution

This problem was fixed. The fix is included in:

• Jumbo Hotfix Accumulator for R81.20 starting from Take 43
• Jumbo Hotfix Accumulator for R81.10 starting from Take 113
• Jumbo Hotfix Accumulator for R81 starting from Take 89
• Jumbo Hotfix Accumulator for R80.40 starting from Take 211
