# Link may not come up automatically in the 2-Port 40G/100G NIC, 4-Port 10G/25G NIC, and 10G/25G Sync Port

## Symptoms

- When using certain transceivers and DACs with the 2-Port 40G/100G NIC (SKU: CPAC-2-40/100F-D), the 4-Port 10G/25G NIC, or the 10G/25G Sync port, the link may not always come up automatically with the peer device or the desired FEC may not be established.
- Manual configuration of the FEC mode and speed may be required.
