# Policy Enforcement Point (PEP) logs shows a username after user session expired

## Symptoms

- Policy Enforcement Point (PEP) logs show a username after the user's session is expired. The identity source is AD Query or Identity Collector. Machine identity is enabled.
- Output of `# pep show user query cid` shows no information in the field `username`. However, the output shows the username in the field `log username`.
