Web Application names column width is too narrow to fit in Mobile Access Portal

Symptoms

• Web Application names column width is too narrow, so the application names cannot be displayed properly.

Cause

$CVPNDIR/htdocs/includes/css/Main.css parameters are not set properly. The MAB Portal Web Applications look like this:

Solution

This problem was fixed. The fix is included in:

• Check Point Quantum R82
• Jumbo Hotfix Accumulator for R81.20 starting from Take 79
• Jumbo Hotfix Accumulator for R81.10 starting from Take 158
• Jumbo Hotfix Accumulator for R81 starting from Take 106

If you choose not to upgrade, a workaround is available:

1. Create the file $CVPNDIR/htdocs/includes/css/custom.css. CSS styles in this file overwrite default values in the primary CSS of the Mobile Access Portal:

# cd CVPNDIR/htdocs/includes/css/
# touch custom.css
# chmod 655 custom.css

2. Add the following lines in custom.css file with VI:

.UrlLinksDisabled .url-text {
    padding-left: 5px;
    white-space: nowrap;
    max-width:250px;
    overflow: hidden;
    text-overflow: ellipsis;
}

.TableGuacs .web-item {
    height: 25px;
    vertical-align: top;
    width: 260px;
}

/* For length per row; here is 780, and it allows 3 links per row */
.app-list-3 {
    width: 780px;
}

3. Save the file, and restart MAB by running the following command:

# cvpnstop; cvpnstart
