# Security Gateway does not pass traffic through an external interface when it is managed by Smart-1 Cloud, and SecureXL works in UPPAK mode

## Symptoms

- A Security Gateway does not pass traffic through an interface that connects the Security Gateway to the Internet in this scenario:

1. Security Gateway appliance is connected to Smart-1 Cloud
  2. SecureXL works in the User Space Mode (UPPAK)

## Solution

This problem was fixed. The fix is included starting from:
