**Hotfix installation instructions:**

Refer to [sk168597 - How to install a Hotfix](https://supportcenter.checkpoint.com/supportcenter/portal?eventSubmit_doGoviewsolutiondetails=&solutionid=sk168597).

**On versions R81.20 and earlier, after you install the Hotfix:**

1. Backup and edit `grc.conf`. Run:

   `[Expert@HostName]# cp -pv $MDS_FWDIR/conf/grc.conf{,_BKP}`
   `[Expert@HostName]# vi $MDS_FWDIR/conf/grc.conf`

2. Remove this line:

   `interpreterSchedPeriod=86400`

3. Add these values at the bottom of `grc.conf`:

   `interpreterSchedPeriodDay=7`
   `interpreterSchedPeriodHour=23`
   `interpreterSchedPeriodMin=59`
   `interpreterSchedPeriodSec=59`

By default, this schedules the Compliance blade to run every day at 23:59:59.

   `interpreterSchedPeriodDay` is the day of the week. 0=Sunday, 1=Monday, 2=Tuesday, 3=Wednesday, 4=Thursday, 5=Friday, 6=Saturday, 7 = every day.

`interpreterSchedPeriodHour` is the hour of the day which can be between 0-23.

   `interpreterSchedPeriodMin` and `interpreterSchedPeriodSec` can be between 0-59.

4. Save the changes in the `Vi` editor and restart the `fwm` process to apply the changes.

**On version R82** For R82 the necessary configuration is already included in `$MDS_FWDIR/conf/grc.conf`.
