# "Unable to connect to the server, Press OK to reconnect" error when trying to open the Network Interfaces tab in Gaia Portal

## Symptoms
- When you try to open the "Network Interfaces" tab in Gaia Portal, the page keeps loading until it shows the error message: "Unable to connect to the server, Press OK to reconnect".
- The CONFD process stops working and generates core dump files in the _/var/log/dump/usermode/_ directory.
- The Security Gateway has a high number of interfaces configured.

## Cause
A memory leak in the CONFD process.

## Solution
This problem was fixed. The fix is included in:
