Symptoms
- The Check Point appliance with the LightSpeed Acceleration card installed is stuck during the boot process.
- The issue may occur after configuration operations on the ports of the LightSpeed Acceleration card.
Examples:
- Configuring bond interfaces on the LightSpeed ports
- Changing MTU on the LightSpeed ports
- Changing the RX-Ring/Tx-Ring size on the LightSpeed ports
Cause
The duration of each stop and start API call for the LightSpeed Acceleration interfaces may take long time.
Solution
This problem was fixed. The fix is included starting from:
- Check Point Quantum R82
- Jumbo Hotfix Accumulator for R81.20 starting from Take 79
- Jumbo Hotfix Accumulator for R81.10 starting from Take 158
If you choose not to upgrade, contact Check Point Support to get a Hotfix for your version.
A Support Engineer will make sure the Hotfix is compatible with your environment before providing it.
For faster resolution and verification, collect these files:
- CPinfo file from the Management Server involved in the case.
- CPinfo file from the Security Gateway / each Cluster Member involved in the case.
