Cannot set the administrator expiration date to a specific date in SmartConsole

Symptoms
- Administrator cannot set the expiration date. When editing the administrator expiration date, after publishing, the expiration date resets to "Never". If you change it from "never" to the specific date, it returns to "never" after saving.
Solution
This problem was fixed. The fix is included in:
- Jumbo Hotfix Accumulator for R82 starting from Take 10
If you choose not to upgrade, Check Point can supply a Hotfix. Contact Check Point Support to get a Hotfix for this issue.
A Support Engineer will make sure the Hotfix is compatible with your environment before providing the Hotfix.
For faster resolution and verification, please collect CPinfo files from the Security Management Server and Security Gateways involved in the case.

As a workaround, use a Management API to edit the expiration date.
To do so, run from the command line:
# mgmt_cli login user "<username>" password "<password>" domain "System Data" --format json > id.txt
# mgmt_cli set administrator name "<username>" expiration-date "<date>" --domain 'System Data' -r true -s id.txt
# mgmt_cli publish -s id.txt
