ClusterXL drops traffic that is sent to its IPv6 Virtual IP Address that is configured with the Unicast Link-Local scope

Symptoms

• ClusterXL does not respond to traffic that is sent to its IPv6 Virtual IP Address that is configured with the Unicast Link-Local scope (/64).
• Kernel debug on ClusterXL Members (fw ctl debug -m fw + drop) shows that the ClusterXL drops this traffic:

fw_log_drop_ex: Packet proto= .... dropped by fw_first_packet_state_checks Reason: ...

Solution

This problem was fixed. The fix is included in:

• Jumbo Hotfix Accumulator for R82 starting from Take 25

A Support Engineer will make sure the Hotfix is compatible with your environment before providing the Hotfix.
