Random freezes (SSH and console) occur on appliances running in UPPAK mode

Symptoms

• Running tcpdump on all interfaces (i.e., tcpdump -peni any | grep <IP address>) with SecureXL in User (UPPAK) mode while under heavy traffic load may cause the system to hang.
• There is no issue when running tcpdump -peni any host <IP address> or running tcpdump when there is no traffic.

Solution

This problem was fixed. The fix is included in:

• Jumbo Hotfix Accumulator for R82 starting from Take 25
• Jumbo Hotfix Accumulator for R81.20 starting from Take 111
• Jumbo Hotfix Accumulator for R81.10 starting from Take 177

If you choose not to upgrade, as a workaround, use the cpdump -peni any host <IP address> command.
