IOCTL failures causing crashes and freezes in various processes

Symptoms

• FWK or CPD crashes on Gateway, VSX or Maestro/VSX-Maestro.
• One of the blades enabled: AV/AB/URLF/ZPH, and RAD sends large number of IOCTLs
• We see the following messages in fwk.elg:.
  • fwk_ioctl_mq_get_reverse_sock: failed to receive reverse socket for pid
  • fwk_ioctl_mq_read: failed
• In SP, we see the following messages on SMO:
  • lbd_send_bucket_list: members = 0xd00000000, active_members = 0x100200000000
  • where values of members and active members are greater than 0x10000000.
  • It indicates that the SMO was sending corrupted state to the MHOs.

Solution

This problem was fixed. The fix is included in:

• Jumbo Hotfix Accumulator for R82 starting from Take 36
• Jumbo Hotfix Accumulator for R81.20 starting from Take 111
