# Excessive memory consumption in the FWK Process when handling multiple files over single FTP connection

**Product**: SecureXL
**Version**: R81.10 (EOS), R81.20, R82
**OS**: Gaia
**Last Modified**: 2026-02-18

## Symptoms
- The FWK process memory consumption grows from approximately 3 GB after boot to over 11 GB after several days.
- Abrupt release of substantial memory chunks (such as 10 GB) during peak utilization periods, resulting in session terminations and network connectivity disruptions.
- The issue occurs when numerous files are transmitted through a single FTP connection session.

## Cause
Increasing memory consumption stems from active connection memory allocation.
