Symptoms

tcpdump shows that snmp trap temporarily triggered over SNMP trap port 162:

Cause

Different system programs checking power supply status simultaneously caused false positive SNMP power supply trap reports, particularly affecting Quantum Force 9100 appliances with Jumbo Hotfix Accumulator R81.20.
