# FWK process may exit when deleting one subordinate interface from a bonding group

**Product:** Maestro HyperScale Firewall
**Version:** R81.20, R82
**Last Modified:** 2026-07-23

## Symptoms

- One Security Group member went to `DOWN` after attempting to remove a subordinate interface from a bonding group.
- The FWK process may exit on that Security Group member and a FWK core dump file created under folder `/var/log/dump/usermode/`.
- A reboot occurs after the member pulled the updated configuration from the SMO upon returning from the `DOWN` state.
