Symptoms
- The status of Security Gateways in the Compliance Blade report does not refresh according to the selected report.
Example:
A Security Best Practice check (example: "Check that the syslog messages are being sent to the Security Management Server") may show "Poor", while the "Relevant Objects view" lists all Security Gateways as "Secure."
A scan indicates that X rules are non-compliant, but the report shows only Y rules.
Re-scanning and rebooting do not resolve the issue.
Cause
Corruption in an internal database cache table caused inconsistent or outdated data being presented in Compliance Blade reports.
