"No Such Instance currently exists at this OID" when querying the OID tree 1.3.6.1.4.1.2620.1.48 on a Maestro Security Group
Product: Maestro HyperScale Firewall
Version: R82
OS: Gaia
Last Modified: 2026-05-26
Symptoms
- When you query the OID tree
1.3.6.1.4.1.2620.1.48on a Maestro Security Group running in Virtual Extension Mode (VSX Mode) with SNMP set tovs-direct-access, many expected OIDs return this message:
No Such Instance currently exists at this OID.
Note: The vs-direct-access mode allows SNMP queries to be sent directly to the IP address of a specific Virtual System (VS) or Virtual Router, not just to the main VS0.
The query may return a zero (
0) even though CPView shows a non-zero value for the same metric. The solution in sk182941 does not resolve the issue.
Cause
The SNMP agent in VSX mode fails to correctly map OIDs under vs-direct-access.
