# OSPF adjacencies repeatedly disconnect on VSNext Cluster

**Product:** VSNext
**Version:** R82
**Last Modified:** 2026-05-26

## Symptoms

- OSPF adjacencies repeatedly disconnect on VSNext Cluster.
- OSPF neighbors receive Hello packets, but adjacency resets occur, causing routing instability.
- The routed log shows that we receive the interfaces later via `task_ifaddr_change()`.
- Example log output in _/var/log/messages_:

```
[routed] ClusterXL: Missing virtual addresses for VLANs on bond'x'. Ports treated as non-clustered.
[OSPF] Adjacency with neighbor reset. Reason: conflicting advertisements.
```

- The output of the Clish `"show routed cluster-state"` command shows that both Cluster members appear in Master state.

## Cause

A Cluster issue in VSnext causes more than one member to become Master, resulting in OSPF instability.
