Maestro site failover occurs despite site state or grade mismatch

Symptoms

• In a Dual Site Maestro environment, a site failover occurs even when one site is in a Down state.
• A site failover occurs despite a grade mismatch between the sites.

Cause

An issue in the site failover decision logic may cause the system to initiate a site failover without fully validating the current site state and site grade.

Solution

This problem was fixed. The fix is included in:

• Jumbo Hotfix Accumulator for R82 starting from Take 118

A Support Engineer will make sure the Hotfix is compatible with your environment before providing the Hotfix.
