# Maestro site failover occurs despite site state or grade mismatch

## Symptoms
- In a Dual Site Maestro environment, a site failover occurs even when one site is in a **Down** state.
- A site failover occurs despite a grade mismatch between the sites.

## Cause
An issue in the site failover decision logic may cause the system to initiate a site failover without fully validating the current site state and site grade.

## Solution
This problem was fixed. The fix is included in:
